General Notice
The City of Baker City, Oregon (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Court Plaza Construction.
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City of Baker City located at 1655 First Street, Baker City, Oregon, 97814, where Bids will be received, until Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project involves the construction of 2,450 square feet (SF) of 4-inch concrete sidewalk (historic sidewalk jointing), 1,800 SF of 6-inch concrete sidewalk, 1,900 SF of 6-inch exposed aggregate sidewalk, and 2,075 SF of paver driving surface. The Work also includes 1,000 SF of concrete sitting wall with stacked rock facing and capstone. New Site improvements include ornamental light poles and utility trenching for electrical and irrigation conduit, together with all other Work to complete the Project as shown on the Drawings and specified herein.
Based on Bids received and funding availability, an additive alternative is included that involves the demolition of the Site including 325 square yards (SY) of concrete walks, 240 linear feet of concrete curbs, and 600 SY of asphalt drive.
The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law.
This Project is being funded by the City of Baker City.
The Project has an expected duration of 90 days.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office's website at http://www.bakercity.com/2175/current-solicitations. The Contractor shall provide its mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and email address to the Issuing Office when Contract Documents are downloaded. The Contractor shall also identify itself as a prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier, etc., as applicable. Bidders must request to be added to the Plan Holders List by emailing the Owner at pwadirector@bakercity.gov to be placed on the Plan Holders List and to be notified of addenda. The Owner shall not be responsible for bidders not shown on the Plan Holders List. The Bidding Documents will be available after March 17, 2026.

Pre-Bid Conference
