Sealed bids for the CHRISTMAS VALLEY LIBRARY BUILDING located in Christmas Valley, Oregon, will be received by Tina Berneikis, Administrative Assistant, at 513 Center Street, Lakeview, OR 97630 until 2:00 P.M., local time, August 25, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bids will be accepted after this time. The First-Tier Subcontract Disclosure Form, which can be submitted separately, is required at 4:00 P.M. on August 25, 2026.
This project is being funded in its entirety with federal grant funds from the Oregon Community Development Block Grant Program, Project #: P24012.
The project work consists of: construction of a 5,000 square foot building.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: SHN Consulting Engineers & Geologists, Inc; Attn: Darryl Anderson, PE. Electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained by emailing ctague@shn-engr.com or calling (541) 947-4407. It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to verify the completeness of their printed Bidding/Contract Documents prior to submitting a bid and accompanying executed addenda acknowledgment forms. Neither Lake County nor its agents assume any liability or responsibility for defective or incomplete copying, excerpting, scanning, faxing, downloading or printing of the Contract Documents.
Bidders must be qualified. The qualification form is included in the Bidding Documents. This contract is for public work and is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 and Federal Labor Standards Provisions regarding prevailing wage rates. A bid bond is required.
Lake County reserves the right to reject any or all bids not in compliance with prescribed bidding procedures and requirements and other applicable laws, and Lake County may reject for good cause any or all bids upon the finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
