CITY OF HILLSBORODRAFT FINDINGS AND PUBLIC HEARING OPTION FOR AN ALTERNATIVE CONTRACTING PROCESS ON-CALL ELECTRICAL SERVICES PUBLIC NOTICENOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Hillsboro, Oregon intends to exempt the following project from Competitive Sealed Bidding as authorized by ORS Chapter 279C.335(2) and the City's Local Contract Review Board Administrative Rules: On-Call Electrical Services. Draft Findings that support this exemption are available upon email request to Dan Spero, Procurement Services Manager, at Daniel.Spero@Hillsboro-Oregon.gov. The City will hold a public hearing to consider comments on the Draft Findings only in response to a written request for a hearing. A request for a hearing must be sent to Council@Hillsboro-Oregon.gov with a carbon copy to Daniel.Spero@Hillsboro-Oregon.gov no later than 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) on seventh (7th) calendar day after August 3, 2026. If requested, a hearing will be held at 7:00 PM (Pacific Time) on August 18, 2026 in the Shirley Huffman Auditorium at the Hillsboro Civic Center, located at 150 E. Main Street, Hillsboro, Oregon. The meeting will also be held over Zoom. If the findings are approved, the City intends to issue a competitive Request for Proposals to award a class of on-call electrical services contracts as provided by the City's Public Contracting Rules, COH-49-0600 - 0690.
